Francois co-founded Starmark in 1998. He was previously a Vice President and senior trader in exchange derivatives for NationsBank in London, following a period as floor options market maker with Banque D’Escompte/CRT on the Matif and Nations/CRT on Liffe.

Francois received a B.Com in Finance from McGill University, Montreal in 1990.
