Allan joined Starmark in 2002 as a Director, Company Secretary and Consultant. Previously he spent over 40 years in the financial services industry in London, New York and Chicago. His experience with Bankers Trust Company, Chicago Research and Trading and NationsBank/Bank of America covered corporate finance, investment banking and capital markets activities. Most recently he was a managing director in the structured capital markets group of Bank of America in London.

Allan is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland (1966)
